The R-TAD Series provides a reliable, automatic, and simple solution for the periodic removal of corrosive condensate from compressed air equipment, eliminating manual draining and maximizing system efficiency.
💡 Working Principle
The Timer-Based Auto Drain Valve operates on a predictable, cyclical schedule, irrespective of the actual condensate level.
Condensate Accumulation: Water, oil, and rust particles collect in the drain point (e.g., air receiver, filter bowl).
OFF Cycle (Interval Time): The electronic timer keeps the solenoid valve closed for a user-set duration (e.g., 0.5 to 45 minutes). During this time, condensate builds up in the trap.
ON Cycle (Discharge Time): When the OFF cycle expires, the timer sends a signal to the solenoid coil, forcing the valve open for a short, adjustable burst (e.g., 0.5 to 10 seconds). The pressure differential immediately forces the accumulated condensate out of the system.
Repetition: The valve closes, and the cycle automatically repeats, ensuring continuous condensate management.
